Antique RCA Portable Tube Radio Model BX-6 Aluminum & Maroon EXC AC/DC

Here is a nice antique RCA portable tube radio. It is a model BX-6. It has AC/DC operation. This has the covered display window. When you flip the aluminum door open, that is the power switch. I did plug this in and turn it on, it has static and hums loudly, so it will need servicing. The case is excellent, there are no dings or scratches in the aluminum body. The side panels are a reddish brown or maroon they are excellent with no damage. The leatherette covering on the lower panels on the front and back are complete but peeling in spots. It looks great overall, and will be really nice once the leatherette is either fixed or replaced on those panels. The back latch works fine. This is a nice one.
