Blaupunkt Barcelona TYP 2340 Reciever Radio

This is a large tube radio, made by Blaupunkt in 1956 (possibly 1957) in Germany. It is about 25 3/4" by 15 3/4" by 11". This is the Barcelona table model with push buttons, TYP 2340. It has Broadcast, Long Wave, Short Wave, FM or UHF bands. I have played this radio, it works well on the FM band. Both rock and classical music sound great. (to my ears) It produces a lot of volume when turned up. I didn't notice any distortion at high volume. It does take a few moments to warm up, a characteristic of tube radios. The wood case could use a refinish as seen in the pictures. The wood case is complete and solid, just showing its age. There are 3 small dings in the metal trim under the push buttons. I am not knowledgeable about old electronics. What you see is what you get. The pictures are essential to the description.
