    Description

    This is a very original Zenith Trans-Oceanic Clipper shortwave radio. We plugged it in -- brought up slowly on a Variac - and were able to receive AM radio broadcasts. There was mostly just static on the shortwave bands, though maybe some weak signals coming through.
    The serial number is B308126.
    Please note the handle is broken. It is the one thing I see that is broken. For safe shipping the handle has been removed and the pieces are packed inside the radio. Please check photographs carefully and ask any questions or request additional photographs prior to bidding.
