    Description

    German Radio Tonfunk model Westar WT-226 Rare Vintage Radio. Please read all of descriprion for details on condition.
    Cabinet is in excellent condition with minor signs age. The cloth front is intact with no rips or tears and is clean. The inside has been cleaned of loose dust and the Magic eye has been replaced as well as two new faceplate lights. The Magic eye will need to be set in place and a wire came off during replacement and will need to be reattached. I do not have the know how to resolder it.  All buttons work as they should. The On/Off button needs to be slightly realigned and is a replacement from a Tonfunk radio. I have included several replacement lights and an extra replacement Mullard ECH81 Belgian vacuum tube that has been tested and works.
    The radio has been tested and pulls in Stations loud and clear on FM and AM. Pick Up was not tested. The three speakers all work as they should and are intact and their unique sound is beautiful. Dials are all intact and work as they should. Due to its age it is sold "As-Is". I do not know the life of any of the electrical components. It will need to be serviced before any extended use.
