Icom IC-718 HF Transceiver 150 Watts SSB All Freq Transmit

Description

Another Great Excellent Icom IC-718 HF transceiver with mic, power cord, and new strap handle . This rig has had its power increased by me to 150 watts SSB, CW and RTTY. The transmit has been disabled in the extended menu for CW and RTTY in case the rig is to be used with an auto tuner rated at 125 watts or less. CW or RTTY user must decrease power to 100 watts in addition to enabling transmit mode in the extended menu for RTTY & CW {125 watt auto tuner use only}. 125 watt auto tuners have no problem with 150 watts SSB PEP ! AM output carrier is 40-50 watts with whistle modulation into mic to 60 watts + ! Great CB Band Modulation !
This 718 has had the Mars/Cap mod {all freq transmit }, including CB 11 Meters !
Great Prepper radio for these times !
DC power supply , auto or manual tuner and wire antenna is all that's needed to get on air.
Note : The finals are fully protected with thermal sensors and circuits !
