Up for auction is my Kenwood TM-2530A 30 watt 2 meter FM transceiver.  I used this radio for the better part of 5 years (mostly receive) and now it’s time to part company and find it a new home.
Originally purchased used, this radio has been used indoors in a non-smoking environment.  The only modification (which was in the radio when I got it) was the addition of a Lithium backup battery holder, which will allow you to easily change the battery when the time comes.  The CR2032 battery is still good at 3.26 volts. Other than that, the previous owner took good care of it.  When I got it, I put it on my bench and checked it all out.  It’s nearly bang-on frequency and the transmit power, deviation and receiver sensitivity are all within Kenwood factory specifications.
Other than a few minor scratches, she’s in pretty good condition.
Radio will include a DC power cord, instruction manual, and an ICOM HM-56A that was rewired to work on this radio (NOTE:  this is the microphone that came with the radio and it works quite well).

Shipping
Your item will be shipped from ZIP Code 92609 within 2 to 3 business days after I receive confirmation of your payment from PayPal.  Your item will be well packaged and shipped by either UPS Ground, USPS Priority Mail, USPS Parcel Post, or USPS First Class Mail at my discretion. If a specific delivery service is required, please contact me and make arrangements before bidding or buying.
