Vintage Philco 53-562 Radio - Works - Free shipping.
Those who have followed my listings over the past several months already know that we are getting older and are downsizing our various collections, particularly antique radios. We have had great luck in finding new homes for some unique artifacts.
This set would have been restored around 30 years ago and has seldom been turned on since. It has always been stored in climate controlled conditions. I did not take the back off for pictures, but I would not have kept it if the chassis was not pretty clean.
Note that this radio has the old "Tropical/Marine/Police" band capability. I had to turn on my signal generator to make sure it worked and it seemed ok.
