Vintage Rare 1954 Zenith AM Tube Radio Model R615 Working FREE SHIPPING

Description

I did not hook up to antenna, only got static for the radio. I assume it would work if it were in range of a signal.
Tested - the “Phono” input works.
I tested with playing Marlin Manson and the bass does not sound too good. Could probity use a cleaning/ servicing.
Then played Marvin Gaye and it was decent.
The back comes off easily (small chip out of the left top part of backer board, see photo) all the bulbs glow and it warms up nice. Could prolly use a good cleaning and maybe replace some parts to get it back to its former glory.
I got this from a local music store that went out of business after being open for 40 years. This was stored inside the store.. not an old barn find.
