Vintage RCA Victor Portable Radio - Model 8-BX-5K For Parts Restoration

Vintage RCA Victor Portable Radio - Model 8-BX-5K that is a good candidate for parts or restoration.   Unit powers up, but only emits static.  All of the tubes tested good on my Eico Model 625 tube tester, so the issue is a little more complex than swapping out some tubes.  The antenna bar inside the radio is broken as well.  Exterior of radio is in good condition, with a small spot on the right side that appears to have been melted at some point.  One of the dials is not original and the other does not sit properly on the stem.  Both turn smoothly and properly and the dial indicator functions properly as well.   Power cord is in fair condition, with one spot taped.  In order to ensure safe delivery,  the radio will be double boxed.   Do not hesitate to make an offer,  all will be considered.
