Description
I have a treasured AM radio that sat in my family's kitchen during the late 1950's, 60's and into the 1970's. We lived in the mountains of Southwest Virginia and were lucky enough to have a strong signal to WFHG out of Bristol, VA. This radio was on both day and night! This radio was made by the Monitor Equipment Corp.
I doubt it still works and as you look at the electrical cord, you'll see why I don't want to plug it in to test the radio. This radio needs restoration or may be used for parts.
This radio measures 12 x 6 x 7 1/2 inches.
It is a tube radio and you may be able to get more information about it, if you look at the photo of the bottom. There are two stickers on the bottom that reference the radio's schematics.
