VTG Enesco Priscilla Hillman 1992 Calico Kittens Figurine Waiting for a Friend [Like You]
Here is an adorable addition to any collection of figurines, whether your collection focuses on cats or not. There is a white kitty with a pink scarf tied around her neck, with a matching patch on her tail and complimentary patch on her right paw. She is seated on a chair, waiting patiently for her friend. Under her rump is a blue blanket made of actual cloth. The chair itself is made of actual wood. I'm not used to seeing those kinds of details on a mass-produced collectible figurine, so I am impressed. Although, I'd have made the pillow and hat also be cloth, instead of the same kind of ceramic that the cat is made of. In any case, this is a sweet little figurine that would bring a smile to the face of anyone who invites her into their home.
Please note that, after some research, I have learned the hat is removable. It has been puttied/poorly glued to this figurine, but I'm sure a not-so-gentle tug would remove it without leaving much damage, if you so desire. I would probably leave it be, though, because the details adds to the cuteness of this piece.
The figurine stands approximately 6 inches tall, and is about 4.25 inches at its widest.
