    Description

    Left at repair shop since 1971, this is a 1952 Zenith Cobra Matic Phonograph and Radio, model J655. The mono sound from this is excellent, very warm and sweet. The platter has small area of felt missing near spindle, the platter spins slow at start up, but gets progressively better the longer it is played. The am radio tries to bring in a channel but hasnt (this could very well be due to our location). So this Cobra Matic needs some service, but is functional. The outside cover has some blemishes, and the tuning knob is missing. The dial bezel has a couple of areas the gold came off where scotch tape had been since 1971. Please see pictures for details.
